The Other F Word” documentary debuts at SXSW and recieves critical acclaim

“The Other F Word” a documentary based on Jim Lindberg’s book “Punk Rock Dad” is debuting this week at the film portion of SXSW. The film is a inside look at some fathers who are members of some of the most seminal bands of all time, that also have kids and how that dynamic changes their life. A member of the Houston Press was in attendance for the debut and posted a great review that will make you have to see the doc. We are STOKED to announced that we are playing Side One Dummy Records fifth annual ROCK TO ROLL charity event at The Key Club in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday December 8, 2010. The event will directly benefit the non-profit organization UCP WHEELS FOR HUMANITY. We will be playing along with Anti-Flag, Punk Rock Karaoke, Heartsounds and Destruction Made Simple. Line Up Additons to The Black Pacific

Hey Everyone – - We’re excited to announce two new members of The Black Pacific: Gavin Caswell, who will be taking over on bass, and Marc Orrell, ex-Dropkick Murphys, on guitar. It turns out that our good friend and original bass player, Davey Latter, has to return to his drumming duties with his band, Everest. We knew all along when it came time to tour, it would be difficult if both bands were going out at the same time, and that’s exactly what happened. So although we’re bummed we’re not gonna have Davey along for the ride, we’re stoked to have two new rippers joining up with us. We just played with the new lineup at the Epicenter 2010 Festival, and after our October 15th show at The Key Club, we’ll be heading over to Europe for the Eastpak Antidote Tour with SUM 41, The Riverboat Gamblers and Veara. We are all definitely looking forward to getting out there and rocking some faces off.

On another note: I want to say once again that I have nothing but good will toward everyone in the Pennywise family and the great fans we made over the years. I wish the guys success with their new album and tours, and choose only to support the positive message we worked together for 20 years to establish.
